TES Teacher Angie Hunt wins Teacher of the Year for RCCS

Angie Hunt, 1st grade teacher at Trinity Elementary was selected as the Randolph County Teacher of the Year for the 2017- 2018 school year.  She was presented with this Honor Tuesday Night at the Randolph County Teacher of the Year Banquet.  Mrs. Hunt has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education, Masters Degree in Elementary Education, and a National Board Certification. She has 18 years of teaching experience and 11 of those being at TES! She has taught both first and second grades. When asked about her life she said, "I grew up in the Archdale-Trinity area where I met my husband John while in high school. We have been married 18 years and have three children Charlie (15), Haleigh (14) and Karleigh (11). All three attend Archdale-Trinity Schools and keep us very busy! We have a sweet, spoiled, Shih Tzu named Bella who thinks she is in charge of the Hunt household. We enjoy spending time together as a family especially hanging out with neighbors, having cookouts and spontaneous trips to the mountains. Our favorite place to visit is Pawley’s Island, we love the beach! I personally enjoy reading, shopping, watching home improvement shows, decorating and being with friends and family as much as possible." Mrs. Hunt loves that TES is a family! Everyone is treated with respect, everyone is loved and everyone works together to build a school community that fosters a love for learning.

TES is so proud of Mrs. Hunt.  She is a shining example of our school's loving environment.
