Welcome to Kindergarten. My teaching career began in 2018 and I have loved teaching at Trinity Elementary for all of my career thus far. I graduated from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) with a degree in Elementary and Special Education. 

Get to Know Mrs. O: 

 This summer I enjoyed coaching swimming, spending time with friends and family, and visiting the North Carolina coast. My husband and I have one little boy and two fur babies, Daisy (dog) and Jax (cat). During the school year I also teach dance at On Stage School of Dance in High Point. I am a fourth generation teacher. My Great-Grandmother, Grandmother and Mom were/are all teachers. 

I love teaching all subjects. I love seeing a student’s face light up when they discover a book they love. I love when students master addition and subtraction for the first time. I love when students explore new things in science. Lucky for me, all of these things will happen in our Kindergarten class this year!
